Paper 1+2 “Mixed Paper”
Our expert examiners have designed a blend of Paper 1 and Paper 2 to help you practice all question types. Reflecting the structure of the real IB exam, we recommend completing it in 2.5 hours to simulate exam conditions.

Annotations
Each paper is sent to the examiner who prepared it. They will mark it using the appropriate mark scheme and provide detailed annotations. During the feedback session, the examiner will review the annotations with you and discuss areas for improvement.

Lanterna Mock
We provide the Mixed Paper through Google Drive at your chosen time below. We recommend completing it within 4 hours, but if you’re unable to take the exam then, you can submit it latest by Tuesday, 29th October, 6pm.
This practice test has been designed by our expert examiners as a blend of Paper 1 and Paper 2 to help you familiarize yourself with the types of questions you might encounter. While it reflects the general structure of the IB Biology exam, please note that this is not an official IB examination. We recommend completing the test within 2.5 hours to simulate real exam conditions and give yourself the best preparation experience.

The P1+2 “Mixed Paper” is prepared by Lanterna’s IB Examiners – IB Teachers who work for the IBO marking the real exams.
The P1+2 “Mixed Paper” combines question types you will encounter on P1 and P2 of your chosen subject. This structure ensures that we can test all areas of knowledge and exam skills while reducing the time needed to do so!
Yes, the Autumn Half-Term Mock will be suited to the new syllabi in Group 4 subjects.
The same examiners who prepared the Mock Paper will be checking it according to a specifically created markscheme
This will depend on student volume, however we expect no more than 2 weeks.
You will receive a copy of your paper that the examiner has annotated and given marks for via email. You will not receive an IB grade (1-7) as these depend on grade boundaries. The examiners will give descriptive grades.
