The current Economics guide has been examined since May 2022. Built around nine key concepts and real-world issues, it spans four units (introduction, microeconomics, macroeconomics and the global economy) and asks students to evaluate, not just describe. SL and HL routes differ in depth, with HL adding a quantitative policy paper.
