The English Lang & Lit Syllabus, Broken Down

Three areas of exploration, a body of literary and non-literary texts, and an oral. Here's the course, and where technique makes the difference.

The current Language A: Language & Literature guide has been examined since May 2021. It is organised around three 'areas of exploration' and seven concepts, and studies literary and non-literary texts side by side. All students complete an Individual Oral; HL students add the HL Essay. The course underpins almost every degree pathway.
